Skiing & snowboarding
158 kilometers of slopes and 54 lifts await you in the 3 ski areas in the Zell am See - Kaprun region alone. If this is not enough for you, you can also visit one of the largest ski areas in Europe, the "Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn" with 270 kilometers of slopes - only 20 minutes away by car. Or you can go to the "KitzSki" ski area (188 kilometers of slopes) and ski to the famous Kitzbühel - the valley station in Hollersbach is only 30 minutes away by car.
Winter & snowshoe hiking
A special way to experience the wintry nature of the Zell am See - Kaprun region is to explore it on foot or with snowshoes.
Hike on perfectly cleared winter hiking trails through the winter wonderland. Or strap on your snowshoes and march across meadows and on alpine pastures with great views to places that no one else can reach.
